Plurilingualism and cross-border

The « Plurilingualism and cross-border » convention was born from the common desire of the Nancy-Metz academy and the Grand-Est region to give new impetus to educational policies in favor of plurilingualism and cross-border cooperation. The development of plurilingualism will aim to make the academic territory a vast cross-border space both culturally and economically, multilingual par excellence.

The signatory partners support the development of plurilingualism, mainly German and Luxembourgish, alongside English but without excluding other languages. They set themselves the objective of spreading the languages ​​of neighboring countries – along the borders of course – but also throughout the academic territory, by promoting plurilingual projects promoting interculturality.

 

THE PROJECT

The Nancy-Metz DANE intends to put its digital educational skills to the service of the said convention and to participate in its implementation through those three priorities :
