What is Rob’Autism ?
The Rob-Autism project uses digital tools and resources, to encourage interaction and reduce social challenges for autistic students by implementing new educational strategies that lead towards more effective inclusion of these students within their schools.
What are our goals ?
The Rob-Autism project aims to evaluate the impact of interactions between autistic students and Cozmo (a non-humanoid robot) on communicational skills, by studying communication within and outside the classroom. (communication with other students, teachers, parents, grandparents, siblings…) Among the technological solutions which seem to have a positive impact on the communication skills of autistic students, robots are a particularly promising lead.
